Project Management, Cost Control, and Monitoring of the Construction Management due to the complex conditions of the project, such as contractor insolvency, fund step in, or other catastrophic events.

Scope out and manage deep investigations to the team, scope and instruct site surveys to identify and report on project status, scope gaps, and other project failures. Assess and report on project status and needs, assess progress percentage, defects, and comment on legal status of each party and activity. Reassert project protocol and governance, hierarchy, reporting and to re-baseline the project and establish ground zero status with which to remobilise and resurrect the project.

Manage and coordinate the design team and other professionals to complete, update or produce new design and employers’ requirements. Review the options and agree the procurement strategy to complete the works.

Manage the works to completion and coordinate certification and compliance with the approved design and regulations and other required approvals.

Other tasks will include:

• Prepare a backup Master Programme to guide the main contractor to achieve the practical completion of the project in the most efficient manner.
• Conduct daily monitoring and prepare weekly reports on the progress, quality, and trades’ performance on-site.
• Assess the monthly valuation and variations and conduct full interrogation for the main contractor and the subcontractors.
• Combine and assess all the project documentation and allow for a smooth handing over to the operations team.
• Allow for a successful overlap period between the project construction and operations to achieve completion as quickly as possible.
• Assist the client to have a successful soft opening and organise training as required for the client operations team.
